Membership Application
(Canadian Residents Only)
The Sculptors Society of Canada reviews applications once a year (Sept. 15) for membership. The Society operates with the volunteer efforts of its members and seeks artists who have completed their formal fine art education and demonstrate a professional level of artistic work and interest in contributing to the Society
Please forward the following:
- A professional résumé for reference.
- An artist's statement.
- Two views of 10 recent works (total of 20): 35mm colour slides. Please use application and slide list (below).
- Application fee of $25. (Cheque or money order made out to the Sculptors Society of Canada) This is non-refundable
- $200. (Cheque or money order) to cover your first year membership fee* should your application be accepted. This will be returned to you if your application is not accepted.
- A photo of yourself (no larger than 5x7) for your file should your application be accepted.
- A self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) for notification and return of slides.
- DEADLINE: September 15th
*NOTE:
Annual membership fee to the Sculptors Society of Canada is $200 for the first year and $150 for subsequent years. All slides and photos of successful applicants will be added to the resource files at the Canadian Sculpture Centre and will also become part of the SSC archives.
All members are encouraged to participate in the activities of the Society. Therefore, please choose one or more from the following areas for volunteer assignment (TO BE FILLED IN ON THE APPLICATION FORM):
