John Wiles
John Wiles is a Toronto sculptor born in Northampton, England. His work explores humanity's relationship with itself and its environment including the telestic planes. Wiles uses a sense of humour as he investigates the dark and light sides of life and death.
The electric kettle, a very Canadian appliance, acts as a catalyst that melds two aspects of the same idea. One image is dependent on the other.
