Canadian Sculptures' Society

Judi Michelle Young

Young juxtaposes Eastern symbolism and Western concepts. She is currently working on "JUST-US" - a narration of her family's long history in Canada. This series of installational works is also dedicated to the many - more than 4000 workers – who died blasting through the Rockies during the building of the western portion of the Canadian Pacific Railway. (Young's father was employed by the CPR for more than 30yrs in interior BC)
