Janine Lindgren
I am searching, questioning.
My work is varied and contains contrasts, i.e.;
as between the tortured inner workings,
and the outer plasticity of the figure.
The forms vary, from still poses of contemplation,
where the searching or struggle is internal,
or as tension on the surface,
to; the figure physically reaching, or caught in an action depicting that moment in time
between change, (change from past to future)
--wanting to move forward, yet presently thinking of,
both past and future, seemingly stuck in 'limbo'.
I am searching for a voice in my work, contemporary, yet dealing with
timeless issues, subjects of the human condition.
