Artist Statement

having come to Canada 20yrs ago, excited with the prospect of doing wonders in the art world, the reality of survival came crashing onto to me and the realization that art would have to take the back burner was unbearable and took me awhile to accept it, but the important thing is that one must strut along holding onto a glimmer of hope that my choice of "profession" was not going to die an obscure death

what is art? how do you define art? the desire to communicate….a medium of expression, a manifestation of emotion. ….and out of the chaotic soul emerges art, as raw emotion churns the very soul of the human psyche it needs more…it needs more than just a language to express….how can I express a bouquet of a gazillion colours in a language of 26 characters? and so…i paint….i sculpt….i express
