Artist Statement

Through the figurative images, I explore the complexity of psychological aspects of different periods of life. In my works I use symbolism to express my feelings, my attitude and my own position in this life. The nature of clay mixed with grog that I use in my creations gives strength, plasticity, warmth and textural contrasts, which are inherently tied to the concepts they express.
